Ultra Fine Shot
Peened by Ultra Fine Shot (0.1mm 850Hv) gives bigger compressive residual stress in the closer layer to the surface.
Effective for such parts as gears that damage is caused from the surface region.
Conventional Steel Shot
Compressive residual stress curve by conventional steel shot (0.6mm 700Hv).Effective for such parts as shafts that damage is caused from the deeper retion.
Longer service life helps drive down cost of shot peening process
Ultra Fine Shot lasts as 1.3 to 1.7 times as long compared with the conventional ones, and reduces abrasive cost by 30%.
